14. Governing Law and Protected Rights

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable United States federal law, subject to mandatory protections that apply to the user. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights, remedies, warranties or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for deliberate bad-faith nonperformance (dolo), or prevents a regulatory complaint or access to a court of competent jurisdiction. This protection controls over inconsistent liability, security, subscription or other wording. Updates apply prospectively and do not retroactively change existing agreements or accrued rights. Remaining provisions continue where legally separable.
